Easyjet also offer the opportunity to offset the carbon emitted from your flight through UN certified Emission Reduction projects. It only adds a few pounds to the overall cost and we recommend taking advantage of this option when booking online.

TAP Portugal

TAP Portugal usually charge for surfboard carriage – 50 euros each way although on previous trips they have not charged from Heathrow but have charged 50 euros from Lisbon.

Other flight options:

You are welcome to fly via a different airline to our recommended option but please note that if you arrive or depart at a different time to the flights above we will be unable to provide a transfer. It is very straightforward to book a taxi from the tourist information desk upon arrival at Lisbon airport and the cost is approximately 100 euros.

 

Other travel options:

Another more leisurely option is to take a ferry from Plymouth to Santander in Northern Spain and then drive to Peniche. Book via www.brittanyferries.com or call Robinson Travel on 01237 476798

Surf South West do not book flights, however we can assist you in obtaining good prices from Robinson Travel, a retail agent for an ATOL holder. We will negotiate the provisional arrangements for your flights that are appropriate to your itinerary and then put you in touch direct with Robinson Travel for you to pay and book your flights. In return Robinson Travel will confirm your flight times and invoice you separately. Please note that we do not take payment for flights ourselves, however by ensuring that you are booking with a retail agent for an ATOL holder you can be assured that your flights are financially protected under an ATOL licence.
