Meet our new instructors – David Hasselhoff and Scott Mills? Our afternoon beginner group had a surprising disruption to their lesson on the beach recently when Baywatch star David Hasselhoff interrupted their lesson to offer them some film work.
David Hasselhoff had been visiting North Devon for a few days filming a reality TV programme for Living TV with Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills. While filming on Croyde Beach, Hasselhoff approached surf instructor Johnny Fitzgerald to see if our group of beginners were able to appear alongside the Californian star. The surfers were having their first ever surf lesson with us and relished the opportunity to appear with the Baywatch legend.
After a stint in front of the cameras and a few autographs, Hasselhoff, Mills and the crew left the surfers to enjoy the rest of their lesson and catch a few waves. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that ‘The Hoff’ will be making a regular contribution to all of our lessons.

2009 Surfing Lessons: Our surf school at Croyde opens on 28th March 2009 and we are then open every day until 8th November 2009. Our office is still open every day for bookings and enquiries.
