Instructor Profile: Max, Instructor
Max is from Avalon, one of the northern beaches of Sydney, just a stones throw away from where Home & Away is filmed. He claims to be best friends with Alf stewart, but we're not too sure?
Max's dad came to north devon to work as a lifeguard in the 70's where he met Max's mum. Max finished school in 2007 in Australia and saved up to go travelling and surfing around the world. He has been surfing since he was 3 yrs old.
Max is now into his second season working at the surf school. After being an assistant instructor for his first season, Max is now returning in 2010 after spending a winter surfing in Morocco as a fully qualified level 1 instructor.
