Girls Surf Courses, Girls Surf Lessons, Girls Surf Weekends and Girls Surf Holidays
After the success of our previous Girls on Waves Girl only surfing Weekends, Surf South West is arranging more weekends in 2013.
The emphasis of the girls surfing lessons are to give girls a chance to learn to surf in a fun and friendly environment on Devon’s best surf beaches. All sessions will be led by our Surfing GB qualified female surf instructors, and are suitable for girls of all ages with all abilities welcome for our all female surf lessons.
On arrival our instructors will have a chat with you to ascertain your surfing experience, and we will ensure that you are placed in a group with female surfers of a similar ability.
We will be offering a range of courses from a half day taster to a 1 ½ day weekend girls surf course. The weekend course is the recommended option for maximum progress and sense of achievement, by the end of this course almost all participants will be standing up and riding waves to the shore.
We were the first surf school in the UK to be awarded Level 4 status by the British Surfing Association. This is the highest level attainable and is awarded in recognition that Surf South West has the highest standards of coaching. We are also recognised as a Surfing GB 'Centre of Excellence.'

The Course Options:
Weekend Course
Saturday Morning, Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning – three sessions.
Includes all coaching, surfboard, wetsuit and lunch - £85
Full Day
Saturday Morning and Afternoon or Sunday Morning and Afternoon – two sessions.
Includes all coaching, surfboard, wetsuit and lunch - £58
Half Day
Any session Saturday or Sunday – one session.
Includes all coaching, surfboard, and wetsuit - £30
Lessons start at 9:30am in the morning and 12:30pm in the afternoon.
The booking:
With limited numbers on all our courses, early booking is essential. To confirm your place, please complete a Surf South West booking form with payment, clearly stating ‘Girls on Waves'. £20 deposit per person is all we need to guarantee a place and then the balance is due four weeks prior to the course start date.
