North Devon's surfing beaches are the closest in the south west to London, the Midlands and the north of England. Travel time from London to Croyde is 3-4 hours by car or train and we are only 45 to 60 minutes from the M5.

Travel by public transport and save 10% off all courses
We now offer a 10% saving on all courses for anyone travelling wholly by public transport to attend one of our courses from outside Devon. Bus, coach or train it doesn't matter, just leave the car at home. Simply let us know when booking and save your tickets to show us on arrival at the surf school. The same discount applies if you're a keen cyclist and ride to Surf South West from outside Devon!
By Rail

From Barnstaple Station to Croyde, local buses operated by First and Stagecoach run hourly during the day. For more information visit First website or Stagecoach South West website It is also possible to take a taxi for the nine mile journey from the station to Croyde. By Coach
National Express operate a daily service to Braunton. For timetable information call 08705 808080. From Braunton, you can catch a local bus or take a taxi - see bus and taxi contact numbers above. If you arrive in Croyde by bus there is a stop in the centre of the village and another right across the road from the surf school.
By Car
From Junction 27 of the M5 take the A361 to Barnstaple. From Barnstaple, stay
on the A361 following signs to Ilfracombe until you reach Braunton. At Braunton, turn left, following signs for the B3231 to Croyde. This road leads straight to Croyde. Our surf school in Croyde is located in the Croyde Burrows beach car park, Moor Lane, opposite RUDA Holiday Park. Our surf school at Saunton is located in the Saunon Beach Car Park, clearly signposted from the B3231.
