Ben 

Instructor

Ben is 28 and originally from London. He started surfing in 1997 and began working at Surf South West in 2000. Prior to working here he taught surfing and a number of other activities at a children's outdoor activity centre. Ben has travelled to Australia, France, Costa Rica, Lanzarote and Ireland.

He surf's a 6'0" fish and a 5'10" egg. Ben was a Senior Instructor at the surf school for a number of years and coached on our group trips abroad, before leaving his full time position to pursue a career in carpentry. He now runs his own business and still coaches at our centres in Devon part time. He is a qualified RLSS beach lifeguard and BSA Level 2 Coach.
